The Zodiacs was started in 2002 and prior to 2006 was a club of 12 caravan/motor caravan ralliers. These eventually decided to move into static homes and the rallying function ceased. The club entered into a decline until only the secretary was left. At this point the ACCEO was informed of the situation and a takeover request was made.

On October 18th 2006, 4 motor caravaners met to discuss the situation and how to utilise it. As a consequence ''The Zodiacs'' club was taken over and by December the constitution had been re-written, the officials appointed, and paragraphs 4 and 6 exemption certificates were obtained.

The re-vamped club was launched at the February 2007 NEC show via the ACCEO stand, for all makes of motor caravan and the first new member registered.

Since those days The Zodiacs motor caravan club has continued to grow annually working on the principle of rallying on a low cost basis, in as much as, ''What we pay is what we charge'' our members. All other aspects of the rallies are cost optional.

The annual rally program was designed to give a selection of areas for gatherings with the minimum amount of van movement required in order for us to enjoy ourselves. It normally would include a continental opportunity as well as UK coverage. At present the numbers mean that we only have one rally in progress at any one time unless one of the rallies are limited. For example: when on the continent we will have rallies in the United Kingdom

In 2008/2009 the website was designed and developed and is constantly undergoing review to provide the service the club requires for further development.

All current committee members are seasoned motor caravan ralliers.
